Helen V. Ross, the widow of Joseph B. Ross, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at Milford Manor Nursing Home, West Milford. Helen was 105.
Born in New York City the daughter of Herbert and May (Stickle) Vail, she lived in Upper Saddle River and Maywood. Helen moved to West Milford after her husband’s death in 1984 and lived with her daughter and son-in-law until 2009 when she moved to Milford Manor.
A family statement read: Helen celebrated her 105th birthday this August. This spunky lady will live in our hearts forever.
Surviving are her daughter Edna M. Rothe of West Milford, a granddaughter Amy Romansky and her husband John of Ringwood and great-grandsons Eric Mark and Scott Joseph Romansky. Along with her parents and husband, her son-in-law Albin predeceased her in 2010.
Private funeral arrangements were made by Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.
