    Isabella Williams, nee Spano, died Tuesday June 12, 2012 at her residence in the Glenwood section of Vernon. She was 95.

    Mrs. Williams, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Lucretia (Desantis) Spano, was born in New York City on May 7, 1917.She had resided in Wayne for 37 years, moving to Vernon Township in 1999.

    Mrs. Williams was a seamstress in the garment district in New York City as well as a homemaker.

    She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Williams in 1987 and is survived by her daughters, Judith Douma and her husband Charles of West Milford and Bernardine Barany and her husband Steven of Glenwood; grandchildren, Steven and his wife Barbara, Paul and his wife Stephanie, Caitlin, Alyssa and Sara as well as two great grandchildren, Jordan and Lucas.

    Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Rt. 94 Vernon. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 to 11a.m.
