James J. Breen Sr. of West Milford died on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. He was 78.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Simon and Johanna (Dee) Breen. A veteran of the Air Force, he served during the Korean War. Before retirement, he was a warehouse manager for MP Mayer Warehouse, Fair Lawn.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley (White) Breen, three sons, James Jr. and his wife Bettyann of Hazlet, Daniel and his wife Christine of Ringwood and Guy Favorito of Teaneck, and two daughters, Shirley Ann Parrello and her husband Nino of West Milford, Patricia Reich and her husband William of Hewitt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, Oct. 5 at St. Joseph’s Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
