Jane M. Dell'Osso

    Jane M. Dell'Osso died on Friday, August 1, 2014. She was 62.

    Born in Kearny the daughter of the late Walter and Rose Tappy, she lived in Verona coming to Newfoundland 30 years ago. She was a recreation program specialist with West Milford Township, involved in the P.R.I.D.E. program, worked at Camp Hope Senior Citizen Program and created the Hillcrest Day Camp Program. Jane worked at St. Joseph’s Church, West Milford, where she was in charge of the day care and after school activities.

    According to her family, "Jane's creative talents touched many. Jane loved bargain shopping, crafting, traveling with her many friends and caring for her many pets. Her laughter, humor and courage will be missed by the countless people who had the privilege of knowing her."

    She is survived by her loving daughter, Amber Rose Dell'Osso, her former husband Ernest T. Dell'Osso, two brothers, Gus Tappy and Walter Tappy and his wife Kathy, a sister Bertha Pappe, cousins Dennis and Patricia Moore and several nieces and nephews.

    Visiting was held on Sunday, Aug. 3, at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford. A funeral liturgy was held on Monday at St. Joseph's Church, West Milford. Interment was in the church cemetery.
