Jessie Brownlee, nee Krauss, died on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at Milford Manor Nursing Home in West Milford. She was 77.
Born in Union City the daughter of William and Carrie (Kynast) Krauss, she lived in Hasbrouck Heights, coming to Hewitt in 1998.
A member of the National Audubon Society, she had been a bookkeeper for Sylvester's Restaurant, Hasbrouck Heights, before retiring. Surviving is her devoted son Stephen Brownlee and his wife Rita of Hewitt, and a step-granddaughter, Haley Hammond.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
