Jessie T. Murray 87, the widow of Joseph who predeceased her in 1998, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at her home in West Milford.
Born in Connecticut the daughter of Howard and Jessie (Willets) Johnston, she lived in New York City before coming to West Milford in 1987. Before retiring, she was an office clerk with General Motors, New York City. Jessie was a member of the West Milford Golden Jets.
Surviving are five nieces: Kathy Ward, Peggy Karpinskky, Carol Marge, Rosemarie Krauss and Carol Lopez. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Visiting will be held at the Richards Funeral Home, West Milford, on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral Liturgy is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church., Hewitt. Interment to follow in Cedar Heights Cemetery, West Milford.
