Johanna Hauck Fahmie of Nutley died on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013. She was 96.
Born in Garfield, Mrs. Fahmie lived in Nutley for most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Fahmie is survived by her children, Thomas Fahmie of Red Bank, Patricia Werdann of Brick, Wayne Fahmie of Nutley, Judith Slomback of West Milford, and Joan Fahmie-Sieck of Montville, 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, W. Michael, and her son, Michael.
Services were held on Friday, Aug. 9, at the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton, followed by Mass at St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church, Woodland Park. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
