John J. Jones passed away Friday Sept. 28, 2012. He was 62.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he lived in Franklin Lakes before moving to West Milford 10 years ago.
Mr. Jones was a weigh-mixer for Sun Chemical in Carlstadt.
A member of St. Joseph's Church in West Milford, John was an avid fisherman, bowler and a fan of NASCAR. He also was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association.
John was the beloved husband of Patricia (Clark) Jones, father of Sean Clark and his wife Nancy of West Milford, brother of Verna L. Rosselot of Davie, Fla., and grandfather of Daniel and Cassandra Clark.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Gertrude Jones, and his sister Phyllis Stuergon.
Visiting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home 1440 Union Valley Rd. West Milford. A funeral liturgy is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 1, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 454 Germantown Rd. West Milford. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Church or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN. would be appreciated.
