Jonathan Carlson, 17, of West Milford died March 13.
He was born in Pequannock on May 24, 2001, and lived in Wanaque before moving to West Milford last August.
Beloved son of Andrew Hewitt of Butler and Alison Carlson of West Milford.
Beautiful brother of Justin, Kristina, Jason, and Ryder, all of West Milford.
Jonathan was also a wonderful nephew to many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jon loved being outside and spending time with his family and friends.
He was so bright, and could say anything to get you to crack a smile.
He was such a supportive, wonderful brother.
His smile could just brighten your day, and his laugh was like listening to heaven.
On March 13, Jon lost his life in a tragic car accident at the young age of 17.
He may not have lived a long life, but it was a beautiful one.
Jon was his dad’s fishing buddy, he also loved music and gaming.
Jon also had a deep love for all animals especially cats Keanu and Marina and corn snake Snivvy.
Jon lived every day to the fullest. If you knew him, you know how lucky you are to have had him in your life. We all miss him so much. He will be in our hearts forever. Rest in the sweetest peace, Jonathan Edward.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday March 23, at the D’Agostino Funeral Home 881 Ringwood Avenue in Haskell with a 3:30 p.m. service at the funeral home.
