Lawrence J. Szabo, husband of the late Olga, who predeceased him in 2004,died on Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was 95.
Recently from Lincoln Park, Lawrence was born in Wood Ridge, the son of Michael and Katalin (Schon) Szabo.He lived in Lodi prior to residing in Hewittfrom1979-2011. A World War II Army veteran, he was a carpenter for United Brotherhood of Carpenters # 0124, Paterson.
Surviving are his daughters, Kathleen Laudadio of Parsippany and Patricia Mortensen of Lake Hiawatha, sisters Ann Tomnie and Eleanor Lesko both, of Newton and Lillian Riotto of Branchville, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1911 Union Valley Road, Hewitt.
