Lorraine Ann Shortman, nee Gladic, the beloved wife of Richard of 63 years, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. She was 82.
Born in Garfield, she lived in Ramsey for 25 years coming to West Milford 28 years ago. A member of St. Joseph's Church, West Milford, Lorraine retired from Kenlin Pet Company, Mahwah where she had been a bookkeeper. She was a Home Health Aid for Visiting Nurses, Totowa from 1989-1995.
Along with her husband, her sons Thomas, Robert, Gary and Richard, a sister Mabel Gladic, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive her.
Her parents, Andrew and Susan (Dubnansky) Gladic, and a daughter, Susan Shortman (2010), predeceased her.
Visiting will be Sunday, Oct. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford. The funeral liturgy is set for Monday, Oct. 8, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, West Milford. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
