Marian E. Van Dolan nee Platte, beloved wife of Arthur, died on Friday, April 19, 2013. She was 82.
Born in Paterson, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Hermine (Lamwers) Platte. Before retiring, she was employed as a machinist for C.A. Lausberg Co. of Haledon. Mrs. Van Dolan was a member of the West Milford Presbyterian Church and the Haledon Veterans Auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Arthur Jr. of Haledon, four daughters, Susan Rosnick of Delaware, Debra Webb of Florida, Kelly Ann Knopp of Florida and Lisa Marion Bacon of North Carolina, and one sister, Carol Gilmore of Wayne. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
Visiting will be on Tuesday, April 23, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford with interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
