Martha Flanagan of Franklin, N.J., passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021. She was 101.
Born in Secaucus, N.J., to the late Alonzo and Catherine (Rahner) Downing, Martha lived there most of her life. She worked for many years as a typist for the Service Transportation 6 trucking company in Secaucus. She moved to Highland Lakes, N.J., where she lived for over twenty-five years before settling in Franklin six years ago.
Predeceased by her husband, Thomas Flanagan and daughter, Martha Catherine Kunneman, Martha is survived by her son-in-law, Harvey Kunneman.
A graveside service was held Aug. 9 in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N.J.
