Nancy Leigh Dennen died peacefully in her sleep in the home of her son on July 24, 2015. She was 90.
Born Nancy Loveland on July 24, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y., she is predeceased by her husband F. Vincent Dennen of Boston, Mass.
Nancy attended Colby College in Maine as an art major. She raised three children in Bergenfield and West Milford. Together, she and her husband ran two gift shops, in Fairlawn and West Milford before they both retired and moved to Amelia Island, Florida, where she enjoyed painting seascapes and sailing with her husband. She loved the creative process whether writing, painting, gardening or inventing. She was a friend to animals.
Nancy is survived by her children, Christopher, Leslie, and Marshall; her grandchildren, Aron and Coraleigh; and great-grandson, Jasper.
She will be buried at noon on Friday, July 31, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, N.Y., next to her husband Vincent.
