    Paul Meydrech of West Milford, very early on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, left for his home in Heaven. He was 64.
    Paul was born in Sioux City, Iowa, grew up in Colorado, and lived in West Milford for the past 33 years. He spent many years as president of Gordon Lakes Property Owners Association.
    He was employed at Mercury Systems in West Caldwell.
    A statement from his family read: "He had a servants heart, and served God and His people faithfully in the churches he attended in West Milford. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16"
    Paul is survived by three sisters, Lynn Link of Fort Collins, Colorado, Donna Smith and her husband Tom of Williamsburg, Colorado, Ruth Ann Rempel and her husband Tim of Longmont, Colorado; a son, Mark W. Meydrech, a daughter, Heather L. Engelsman and her husband, Ed; and his beloved wife, Claudia L. Meydrech.
    Paul was predeceased by his parents, Lee and Beth Meydrech.
    A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Living Word Alliance Church, 93 N. Lake Shore Drive, Hewitt.
