Philip James Tripodi passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017. He was 35.
Philip was the beloved husband of Krista Tripodi. He was the son of Christine Walsh Rinaldy and her husband, Thomas, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, and Rosario Tripodi and his wife Daria of Sayerville.
He was a 23-year resident of West Milford. Philip was employed as a sales representative for High Grade Beverage in Randolph, was a proud member of the West Milford Elks Club and an avid New York Rangers, Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan.
In addition to his wife and parents, surviving are paternal grandmother Rosa Tripodi of Bagnara, Italy, mother-in-law and father-in-law Joan and Eugene DeFreest of Hewitt, sister-in-law Kara Maskerines and her husband, Jake, of Hewitt, Aunt Monica and Uncle Joe De Turo, of Point Pleasant, cousin Colin De Turo and nieces Kailey an Rachel, as well as 15 aunts and uncles and 19 cousins in Italy and Australia. Visitation was held on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt.
