Robert F. Hanrahan

    Robert F. Hanrahan of West Milford died on Monday, June 25, 2012. He was 88.

    Born in Jersey City, Mr. Hanrahan lived in Tuckerton before moving to West Milford. He was a fireman for the Union City Fire Department. Also, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Teamsters Union 641; N. Bergen Wheel Club, Union City; the Amergail Irish American Club, Manahawkin; and the Fireman’s Benevolent Association as well.

    Mr. Hanrahan is survived by his sons, William of Long Valley, and Robert of Pompton Lakes; his daughter, Sharon Pasquale, of Pompton Lakes; eight grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.

    Services were held Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Arrangements were by the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.
