Ronald J. Hoffer of Hewitt died on Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was 64.
Born in Passaic, Dr. Hoffer lived in Clifton for many years before moving to Hillside and then to Hewitt in 1984. He had been a dentist since 1981, with his own practice in Vernon for the past 14 years.
Dr. Hoffer is survived by his wife, the former Arlene Vollom; his daughter, Amy Anson of Toms River; his stepdaughter, Laura Morozoff of Clark; his mother, Angela of Davie, Fla.; his sister, Diane Kimberly of Susquehanna, Pa.; and two step-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph.
Services were held on Thursday, April 4, at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Clifton, followed by Mass at Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, Clifton. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
