Rose M. Santimauro, the widow of Francis Santimauro who predeceased her in 2005, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. She was 77.
A 42-year resident of Hewitt, she was born in Brooklyn and was the daughter of Marcelino and Anna (nee Meissner) Villeroel. Before retiring, she worked in middle management for Merrill Lynch in New York City. Mrs. Santimauro was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt and Hillcrest Seniors.
Surviving are a daughter, Maria Myers of West Milford, a brother, Frank Villeroel of Connecticut, a sister, Theresa McGarry of Melville, N.Y., four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visiting will take place at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford, on Friday, May 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, N.Y.
