WEST MILFORD ‑ Sandra L. (Raupp) DeVane passed away on Thursday, Sept. 21.
She was the beloved wife of Edward R. DeVane and the daughter of the late Harry and Carole (Baden) Raupp.
A resident of West Milford for 45 years, she previously lived in Union City.
Employed as a secretary, Sandra worked for various offices locally.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Scott Backle of South Carolina; a sister, Carolyn Gibson of Palm Harbor, Fla.; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Raupp.
Visiting hours are 4 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford, N.J.
Services are 7:30 p.m. Disposition will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1942.
