    Scott Stalbaum, 31, passed away on Nov. 30.
    He grew up in West Milford and graduated from West Milford High School in 2005, and received a scholarship to Monmouth University after graduation.
    He attended Monclair State University after that, where he graduated with a BS in Mathematics.
    After college he was employed by Vitro Com Mfg. in Mountain Lakes.
    Scott loved all sports especially baseball and football, and excelled in Varsity baseball while in high school and enjoyed coaching little league baseball. He was friendly, fun loving and warm hearted with an amazing sense of humor and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
    He enjoyed fishing and playing golf with his buddies, and also took a great interest in carpentry, which lead to his employment with Nicon Construction, LLC.
    He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
    Beloved son of Ralph and Lynne, brother of Brian Griffith, wife Maribel and niece Kassie and cherished grandson of Edward Doremus.
    He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends: Rita, John and Jason Kirkpatrick, AnnMarie and Darryl Callahan, Michael, Dennis and Sean Colligan, Susan (Doremus) and Leo Sozzi, Thomas and Betsy Doremus, and the Love of his Life, Charlene Pappas.
    Predeceased: Grandmother Arlene Doremus, Uncle Edward Doremus, Grandparents, Marjorie and Ralph Stalbaum, Sr.
    A Celebration of Life ceremony is scheduled at Richards Funeral Home for Thurs., Dec. 6, from 5-8 p.m. with a funeral service at Richards Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. with burial following at St Joseph's Cemetery.
