Theresa M. Blanc, the widow of Thomas J. who predeceased her in 1995, died on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was 84.
Born in Norwalk, Conn., the daughter of Donat and Aurore (LeTarte) Dube’, she lived in Basking Ridge coming to West Milford 13 years ago. Mrs. Blanc had been a registered nurse before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Rosary Society, a volunteer at Skylands Manor, Ringwood, West Milford Golden Agers and the Heritage Quilters.
Surviving are a son Thomas K. Blanc of Gaithersburg, Md., daughters Melissa Cavagnino of West Milford and Susanne Klein of Iselin, and her grandchildren David and Steven Cavagnino, Rachel and Matthew Klein and Cecilia and Thomas Neil Blanc.
Visiting will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Feb. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Milford.
