Thomas F. Burke, the beloved husband of Kathryn nee O'Neill, passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock. She was 69,
Born in Paterson the son of the late Joseph and Carlene (Bauso) Burke, he came to West Milford 41 years ago. A Navy veteran serving from 1966-68, he was the proprietor of Thomas F. Burke & Sons, West Milford.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Susan E. Burke of West Milford, and sons Thomas J. Burke of Virginia and Michael S. Burke of Florida. "Poppy" is also survived by five grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Victoria, Michael and Travis.
