Thomas J. Ferriter, Jr., beloved husband of Noreen (Cosgrove) Ferriter of West Milford, died on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. He was 75.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of the late Thomas and Bridget (McGlynn) Ferriter Sr.
Thomas graduated high school from St. Ann's Academy in New York City, and Iona College, New Rochelle, N.Y. He was the owner of T.J. Ferriter Associates, a medical equipment supply company, and a member of the Father Francis Koch Council # 6343 Knights of Columbus of West Milford.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Erin Colwell and her husband, Matt, Tara Heins and her husband Bill, and Shannon Muldowney and her husband Thomas, and one sister, Catherine O’Hanlon. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kelly and William Heins, James and Ellie Colwell and Teddy and Pierce Muldowney.
Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
