Schaefer, Thomas K., 69, of Hewitt, N.J. on Thursday, March 8.
Beloved husband of Carolyn (Hageman) Schaefer. Born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Francis W. and Catherine (Murullo) Schaefer.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served with the U. S. Army in the infantry. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart.
Thomas was employed by NBCTV in New York City as a stage hand and was a member of the Elks in West Milford, N.J.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kenneth T. of Hewitt, NJ, one daughter, Paula L. Mosier of Highland Lakes, N.J., one brother, William F. of Warwick, N.Y., one sister, Diane Boselos of Florida and three grandchildren, Kimberly Schaefer and Lilly and William Mosier.
Memorial visitation at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford, N.J., 07480 on Wednesday, March 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home with military honors to follow. Private disposition.
