Timothy Allen of Hewitt, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2021. He was 79 years of age.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1941 in Owen Sound in Ontario, Canada, to Margaret (nee Edgar) and George Allen, the oldest of eight siblings.
Tim married Ruth (nee Nolan) in 1967 and resided in Hewitt, N.J., where they raised their family.
He graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, and was employed with the Hoyt Corporation in Englewood, N.J., as a metallurgist engineer.
In his spare time, Tim enjoyed golfing with his buddies and watching western movies on TV. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Margaret Allen, his brother George Allen in 1991 and his grandson Thomas Boshart in 2020.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife Ruth; his loving daughter Jacqueline Boshart and her companion Steve Castronova; his loving sons Grant Allen and his wife Eileen and Patrick Allen; his cherished grandchildren Shelby Allen, Daniel Boshart and Cameron Allen; and his siblings: Lee, Gray, Jane, Ruth, Mary and Peter.
