Violet K. Mann, nee Mackenzie, a homemaker from Whiting, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. She was 90.
Born in Sunderland, England, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Emmerson) and Albert Mackenzie. Predeceased by her husband, Seymour in 2001, she is survived by her son, Stephen of Ridge Spring, S.C., and her two daughters, Dorothy Mann of Whiting, and Judith Hill of Hewitt. Two grandchildren, Christopher and Allison Hill also survive.
Private arrangements were made by the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, will be at a later date.
