Wesley Van Dunk, the beloved husband of Arlene nee Hershkowitz of Delray Beach, Fl., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2012. He was 80.
Born in Ringwood, where he lived most of his life, he moved to Delray Beach 10 years ago.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, Wesley was a member of the West Milford American Legion Post #289. He had been a foreman for the Village of Ridgewood before retiring.
Along with his wife Arlene, he is survived by a grandson Jason Nicholas Van Dunk, Sr. and a great-grandson, Jason Nicholas Van Dunk, Jr.
His children Wesley (1996) and Leona (1984) and his parents Wesley and Leona predeceased him.
Visiting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at Richard Funeral Home, West Milford, from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held during visiting at 8:30 p.m.
Final disposition will be private.
