Bentley College Four students from Sussex County were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2006 semester at Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. To qualify for the list, a student must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5, on a scale of 4.0. The four are Caitlin Owens and Jordan Race of Lafayette; Kevin O’Brien of Newton; and Charles Kirkner of Sparta. Owens is a junior majoring in marketing. Race is a sophomore majoring in management. O’Brien is a sophomore majoring in marketing. Kirkner is a senior majoring in managerial economics-management. Clarkson University Shawn J. Mueller of Sparta was named a presidential scholar for the spring 2006 semester at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. Presidential scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours. (Dean’s list students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average.) Mueller is a sophomore majoring in computer engineering. Clarkson is a private university with 3,000 students. Green Mountain College Emily Wilson of Branchville has enrolled at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vt., for the fall 2006 semester. A 2006 graduate of High Point Regional High School, Wilson is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Wilson. She is planning to major in hospitality management, a three-year bachelor’s degree. Barry and Susan Benson of Sparta, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2006 semester at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa. Benson is a rising senior majoring in religion. East Stroudsburg University Twenty-two students from Sussex County are among the 1,246 students named to the dean’s list at East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pa, for the spring 2006 semester.
