East Rutherford — Laura Stoessel, of West Milford, came home with a tie for the People's Choice award at the Meadowlands Racetrack's Third Annual Homestyle Chili Cook-off on Jan. 27.
Her chili recipe tied the third-place winner, Bob Quinones. This is the third year in a row that her chili was selected the fan favorite of the event.
The winner of the event wins a spot at the International Chili Society's World Championship in Reno, NV.
