It was a strange and magical creature that showed up to help Brownie Troop 807 celebrate their June party. James Gandolfini was spotted in the woods near Awosting while filming for the upcoming (and last) season of The Sopranos. In November residents gathered to honor veterans in a number of places in town. This picture was taken at the downtown parade. Cameron Trunzo was just one of the many seventh and eighth graders that had some summer fun one last time before school at the Bubbling Springs Beach Party. For the first time, in what they hope will become an annual event, Pinecliff Lake hosted Scream in the Park. Alex Klenofski played a wolfman. For the fifth year in a row, the Relay for Life in May raised money and consciousness for cancer. Hope, spelled out here with candles, was the theme. Kasia Osuchowski enjoyed some orange juice at the St. Joseph’s Table, an annual feast. A July evening on Upper Greenwood Lake made for a bucolic scene. Things were not looking good during a rare tour of the Tichenor house, a building many want to see restored. Melissa Laaninen was among the happy West Milford graduating class of 2006. Santa comes to West Milford for the tree lighting ceremony to the delight of township children. The West Milford Highlander Marching Band performed their annual Tattoo in November.
