Last Saturday night saw the Sixth Annual Military Concert and Tattoo held in West Milford High School gym. The concert is a musical showcase featuring a number of different performers playing a variety of music with traditional Celtic pipes and drums as well as that of high school marching bands. A total of seven groups played, covering a wide range of musical routines from traditional Scottish and Irish music to contemporary rock. This year’s event was presented in honor of Lance Corporal Brian P. Parrello, a former West Milford High School student killed while serving in the Marines in Iraq on Jan. 1.
