POMPTON PLAINS - When Julia Wilcox Rathkey lost her husband in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, she was unable to locate any books designed to help children through the grieving process. Determined to find a way to help her twin sons and daughter to grieve and then move forward, Rathkey wrote her own book. Now, Rathkey will share her experiences and answer questions about her book, "What Children Need When They Grieve", at a presentation from 9:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, at Chilton Memorial Hospital's Collins Pavilion located at 97 West Parkway in Pompton Plains. The cost of the program is $15; pre-registration is required. Continuing Education Units are available for social workers and registered nurses. To register, call the Chilton Memorial Hospital Community Health Department at 973-831-5433 or e-mail email@example.com. The registration deadline is May 14.
