Hewitt - It’s’s a family affair at Le Bistro II Restaurant where the Sabani brothers just celebrated their 10th anniversary at this West Milford Township location. “We have been in the restaurant business for 24 years. The first Le Bistro was in Oak Ridge which we sold four years ago and opened Le Bistro II in West Milford in 1998,”said Cami Sabani. Cami and his three brothers Adam, Bob and Benny own and operate the restaurant. Bob is the chef, with Adam also in the kitchen; while Cami and Benny manage the dining room where they go out of their way to accommodate customers. “We have a great location here, and we have wonderful customers. We truly enjoy the business and the people that come here,” said Benny. The restaurant which serves Italian cuisine has seating for 120 with a private party room that can hold up to 90 people. There is also a full bar with a liquor license And with parking for 80 cars, customers can always find a space. The entrées range from $13.95 to $24.95. Guests may enjoy a variety of specialties from antipasti to pastas to meat and fish dishes. There are also nightly specials. “Some of the more popular dishes are the zuppa di pesce, cappelini seafood, chicken alla Fiorentina and veal saltimbocca,” notes Benny. Le Bistro II offers Italian desserts such as cannoli, cheesecake, tortoni and international coffees and after-dinner drinks. It looks like Le Bistro II will be around for at least another 10 years now that the Sabani children work there also. “We have a very nice staff here who our customers know and love. And our children also help out as waiters,” Cami says proudly. Le Bistro II at 9 Lakeside Road in Hewitt is open seven days a week serving dinner every night and lunch Monday through Friday.
