A new tradition for West Milford

    WEST MILFORD — We are inviting the community to participate in “The Festival Of Trees.” Bring an ornament to hang on the new community trees in front of town hall. It should express your celebration of the season. Ornaments can denote your club or business. It can be a tribute to our troops or in memory of a loved one, your class, your family — even your pet. Ornaments must follow these guidelines: 1. No smaller than 3”x 3” 2. No larger than 4”x 3” 3. Must be varnished or shellacked to withstand outdoor weather 4. Must come with hanger 5. Ornaments must be removed from trees by January 5 or they will be donated to local organizations Join us in this new community tradition. The already established tradition of the town Tree Lighting Ceremony, complete with music by members of the high school band and Chamber Singers, will be held December 4, at 7 p.m. in front of town hall. Santa will be available for visits and there will be carol singing at this family event.
