Once again, Westbrook students and staff are supporting the “Smile Train,” a voluntary, world-wide, non-profit group that provides corrective surgery for children with cleft lip and other birth deformities, who would otherwise not receive this medical attention. Last year, the school raised more than $2,000 for this cause. Students may purchase a paper “Smile Car” for $1 which will bear the students’ name on it, to be added to the “Smile Train” posted around the school. In this picture Westbrook fourth graders, Heustin Herman and Patrick Doherty, smile in support of the “Smile Train.”
