The Saint Joseph Church “Drive & Drop” Used Clothing Collection last weekend, brought in over 31 tons of clothing surpassing last year’s collection by over 30 percent. More than 50 church volunteers (some of whom are pictured here) were on hand to unload cars and direct traffic. Because of last year’s record breaking collection, trucks rolled in and out all day to make pick ups. Members of the collection committee said they were stunned and gratified when they received word of the final count on Tuesday. The clothes will be sent to those in need worldwide.
