Bailey gets back-to-back shutouts

    Kait Bailey turned in back-to-back shutout efforts in sparking West Milford to a 1-0 win over the Academy of St. Elizabeth on Monday in Convent Station and a 7-0 rout of Passaic Tech last Thursday in West Milford. The wins in the Northern Hills girls' soccer matches elevated the Highlanders record to 4-1-1. Against the Panthers from Morris County, Bailey registered seven saves between the posts while Lindsay Sittinger netted the only goal unassisted in the second half. Lyndsay Fittinger, Erika Grill, Alyssa Hoekstra, Julie Leskanic, Emily Murphy, Kristen Noble and Kristen Trudell fueled the attack, netting solo goals in the rout of PCT. Katie Clark, Fittinger, Hoekstra, Melody Oostdyk and Trudell were credited with assists while Bailey made three saves in recording the shutout in the goal.
