Beck flips to win on uneven bars

    West Milford was edged 95.45-94.05 by Butler in the first girls' gymnastics match of the fall on Friday afternoon. Jaclyn Beck finished second in the all-around standings with a score of 33.3 points. Beck received the top score of 8.3 from the judges in the uneven bars competition and was runnerup in the floor exercise when she received 8.3 points. She finished third in both the balance beam (8.0) and vault (8.35) disciplines while her teammate Julie Nicholson won the balance beam with a score of 8l5 and was third in the uneven bars with a point total of 7.7.
