Boutique holding benefit grand opening

    Warwick, N.Y. —BiNK, the newest retail arrival in Warwick, will celebrate the birth of its chic baby boutique with a grand opening benefit for the Kennedy Birthing Center at St. Anthony Community Hospital. From 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 22 Railroad Ave. in Warwick, Diane DeFreest, nurse manager in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Anthony's, will be available to answer new moms' questions about nursing babies. Beginning Saturday, Sept. 10, raffle tickets will be sold at the store for a Maclaren stroller and accessories valued at $400, as well as prizes from Lara Blair, Plain Jane, Baby Bjorn and J.J. Cole. Proceeds from the raffle and a percentage of sales during the grand opening will go to the birthing center. BiNK features essential baby gear in an urban-inspired, child-friendly space brimming with the latest looks in strollers, diaper bags, gifts and layette sets, feminine nursing bras and accoutrements, and bassinet and high chairs, many from Canada, England and Scandinavia.
