PATERSON — The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders unanimously re-appointed William Pascrell III as county counsel by resolution at their January 23 meeting. Pascrell, who is a Hawthorne resident and son of Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr., has served as the county’s chief lawyer since 1998. This is his fourth appointment. “We are very pleased that Bill accepted the offer to continue to serve in his current position for another three years,” said Freeholder Director Elease Evans. “He runs the office professionally and we are pleased to have him head our legal department.”
