Cubbies clean up

| 29 Sep 2011 | 10:12

This new group of Cub Scouts from West Milford, Pack 159, Den 4 took a fall hike to a scenic lookout at the southern end of Greenwood Lake. Their hike was to search, discover and share, and they found more than the leaves, twigs, ferns, and moss that they set out to collect. There was also a lot of garbage scattered around this beautiful lookout area. With team effort and the help of their parents, the Tigers bagged all the garbage and carried it out of the woods to be put in the trash. The Cubs learned about the damage littering causes and the value of teamwork.
