Darling Dolly

| 28 Sep 2011 | 02:56

Dolly is the current longest term resident of the West Milford Animal Shelter. She has been at the shelter for two years. During those two years she has been passed over for adoption for younger, prettier and more outgoing cats. Dolly is eight years old with gray and white markings. She is quiet, dainty, gentle, calm and loving. While Dolly has adapted to living at the shelter, all pets deserve a home and family of their own. Dolly likes warm sunny windows, gentle loving attention and is very tolerant of other cats. When feeding all the cats, the volunteers at the shelter always make sure Dolly has a plate of food of her own. She will not push other cats out of the way but will wait until they are finished eating and eat what (if anything) is left. To help support Dolly and the other residents of the shelter, the shelter will be hosting its annual Walk-A-Dog-Athon on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Wawayanda State Park.
