WEST MILFORD - The West Milford midget peewee’s 7th grade competition squad hosted their first cheerleading competition in the West Milford High School gymnasium on Saturday, February 4th. Midget cheerleading squads from Paramus, Lodi, Garfield, Wyckoff, Hopatcong, and Roxbury competed in cheer and dance categories along with the United All Stars and girls from the Tighe School of Titans. In addition to the competitors, the home crowd cheered on exhibition performances by the 3rd grade West Milford pre-competition squad, the 5th grade West Milford Supers competition squad, the 6th grade West Milford Supers competition squad, and the West Milford Peewee Squad. This was the first West Milford midget competition ever, and sponsors says it will be held annually. The West Milford Peewee squad will be competing in a National competition next Saturday in Atlantic City. Wish them luck!
