Hewitt Dr. George A. Guariglia, a board-certified family practice physician, will open Highlander Family Medicine in the Hewitt Medical Plaza, 1900 Union Valley Road. His new office, part of a newly constructed 5,000 square foot medical office development, is scheduled to open this month. Highlander Family Medicine will be open seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guariglia is taking calls and scheduling appointments in advance of the official opening of his new practice. “As a second generation Passaic County family physician, I look forward to bringing back the community family doctor,” said Guariglia. “My focus remains on preventive medicine, keeping my patients’ health in the forefront as their best investment over a lifetime.
