West Milford Two local fire departments will be escorting santa as he makes his rounds about town. Each fire department will bring Santa around its own district. UPPER GREENWOOD LAKE, COMPANY 5: The Fightin’ Fifth aka the Upper Greenwood Lake Fire Department will chauffeur Santa around the area on Friday, December 16. Starting at 7 p.m., Santa will head south from the firehouse on Warwick Turnpike to Clinton Road. He will travel down and back and then go over to the Mt. Laurel area. After circling Mt. Laurel, Santa will go along Lake Shore to the Upper Greenwood Lake Club House. Children can have their pictures taken with Santa at the clubhouse. After his photo op, Santa will continue around Lake Shore Drive to the end. Listen for the sirens and look for the lights! WEST MILFORD, COMPANY 6 The firefighters from Company 6 will be helping Santa bring cheer to their fire district on Saturday, December 17 and Sunday, December 18. The schedule for Saturday starts around 2 p.m. when Santa will arrive by sled and fire engine 6-1 at the Camelot neighborhood. He will continue on to Stowaway Park, Bald Eagle Village and Crescent Park neighborhoods. On Sunday on or about 9 a.m., Santa will start at the Pinecliff Lake area from Bushwick and head to the club house, go to the Bearfort Road side of Pinecliff Lake, then St. George street area, and the Edgecomb area. By that time, Santa will need a lunch break, but afterwards he will continue to Ridge Road and surrounding streets. Santa and the firefighters will drive through Bald Eagle Commons to visit the seniors. Then he’s off to the Mountain Circle children and down the Marion Road section. Company 6 will do its best to stay on schedule.
