POMPTON PLAINS — The Chilton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor an evening of fashion and fun at The Brownstone’s Grand Ballroom on Wednesday, April 5, at 6 p.m. The evening’s festivities will include dinner, a cash bar, 50/50 tickets, and themed basket raffles including baby baskets, garden baskets, and coffee baskets, to name a few. Raffle tickets will also be sold for a grand prize and a super grand prize. Fashions, provided by Alex of Montclair, will be modeled by women of all sizes and ages and will be on sale immediately following the show. A variety of upscale clothing will be available, and will appeal to the career woman, those looking for something casual to wear and those interested in formal attire. All sizes of women’s clothing will be available for sale. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Family Care Center at Chilton Memorial Hospital. The Auxiliary has already donated $140,000 this year alone to fund updates to the labor and delivery rooms. The Auxiliary is involved with fundraising, community outreach activities, and operating the hospital’s gift shop, coffee shop, and television rental service. They also organize the commemorative brick walk, sponsor a House Tour, the Holiday Tree of Lights, and organize basket raffles. Anyone is welcome to join. Dues are $10 a year. Meetings provide opportunities for socialization, education and fundraising and are held at the hospital six times a year. Call 973-831-5345.
