Have breakfast with Rutgers Head Football Coach Greg Schiano

    ROCKAWAY TWSP —Green Pond Bible Chapel is hosting a sports breakfast on Saturday May 13 from 7:30-10 a.m. with Rutgers Head Football Coach, Greg Schiano, as the featured speaker. Prior to his five years at Rutgers University, Coach Schiano’s impressive career includes positions as Defensive Coach at Penn State University and the Chicago Bears, as well as Defensive Coordinator at Miami University. He will share a motivational message which will address challenges faced by kids today within the sports world and how to make wise choices. Several other special guests will also speak at the breakfast sharing some highlights from their experiences in professional sports as well. Lou Benfatti, Jr., former Defensive Tackle for the NY Jets, will share his inspiring story of what it meant to play in the NFL as a Christian and how his faith carried him through a life-changing injury Additional guests include the former chaplain of the Chicago Bears - John Maurer - and representatives from the Mighty Gibbors Strength Center in Dover, Athletes in Action and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The breakfast event is free of charge, but donations are appreciated. Registration is requested by April 29th in order to guarantee a spot.
