Health department schedules flu clinics for those with high risk

    WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Health Department will hold flu clinics but the vaccine will be administered by appointment only. In addition, only those recommended for inoculation by the Center of Disease Control will be administered the vaccine at this time. Call the health department to find out who qualifies. The fee for the flu vaccine is $12 and $25 for pneumonia. Those who have Medicare part B as their “primary insurance” will receive the vaccine at no cost. You must have an appointment. Call the nurses’ office to schedule at 973-728-2725. The flu clinic will be held on the following dates: Tues., Oct. 10, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hillcrest Gym, 1810 Macopin Road, West Milford. Wed., Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bald Eagle Commons, Grange Hall, West Milford. Wed., Nov. 1, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace - Gym, 1911 Union Valley Rd., Hewitt. Thursday, Nov. 16, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Milford Presbyterian Church, 1452 Union Valley Road, West Milford.
