Adian is a one-year-old male German Shepherd who came into the West Milford Animal Shelter as a stray. His left leg was fractured but has healed nicely. The cause of the injury is unknown. Adian has lots of energy and personality and he wants to explore everything. He would make a good walking companion or playmate. The volunteers at the shelter are working on teaching him better manners. It was very obvious he had not received any prior training. But to his credit, he is not a chewer or a climber. Like many German Shepherds, Adian has a very mild case of hip dysplasia and it is possible he may develop arthritis later in his life. But like the leg injury, this does not slow him down. He likes most other dogs but not cats and would be happiest in a home with children age 14 and up. For more information call 973-728-2859 or www.westmilfordanimalshelter.org.
